HOYU Textile Recognized with 2024 TRIPs “1.5°C-Aligned” Label for Science-Based Carbon Reduction Commitment
HOYU Textile has successfully passed the assessment of the Temperature Alignment for Corporate Carbon Reduction Pathways (TRIPs) model and received the 2024 “1.5°C-Aligned” label, demonstrating its proactive commitment to decarbonization and environmental responsibility.
This certification is based on the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and uses the Absolute Global Temperature Change Potential (AGTP) model.
It evaluates the company’s long-term carbon reduction pathway by analyzing submitted data, including the base year, target year, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions figures. The model simulates global temperature rise scenarios by the end of the century.
The result highlights HOYU’s alignment with international climate goals and its firm commitment to achieving net-zero emissions.
