HOYU Textile is proud to announce the publication of its first Sustainability Report (2024 edition). While we are not currently required by regulation to submit non-financial disclosures, we have chosen to proactively follow international reporting standards — including GRI, SASB, and TCFD — to compile this report in both Chinese and English.
In the past, "environmental protection" primarily meant compliance — following supplier codes of conduct, legal requirements, and ensuring that our operations did not excessively harm the planet. But that definition has evolved.
Back in 2004, HOYU was first introduced to the concept of recycled PET fabrics. That moment marked a turning point. Since then, our thinking has shifted from compliance to innovation.
We began asking ourselves:
How can we use innovation to reduce environmental impact?
How can we redesign our systems to reduce carbon emissions?
The global pandemic in 2020 challenged businesses everywhere and forced a deep reevaluation of purpose and resilience.
For HOYU, it sparked a realization:
ESG is not optional — it's essential.
To truly ensure business sustainability, we must consider our impact on the environment, society, and governance in equal measure.
This inaugural report outlines our progress in areas such as carbon management, resource efficiency, social responsibility, and corporate governance. More importantly, it reflects our belief that sustainability is not just a responsibility — it is a foundation for long-term value and resilience.
This is more than a report. It is our commitment to the future.
